car seems to be missing badly
ok i just installed the 75 mm TB in the car last week and drove it for about 6 days without too many problems. now today as i was leaving work it seems to be missing badly. before anyone says spark plugs the ones in it are less then a month old. any clues as to why it's doing this all of a sudden. i have a feeling i need to upgrade my injectors and if thats the case what size should i get?

If its missing badly, check for any vaccum leaks around the gasket where you installed the TB. Also DOUBLE-CHECK that your plug wires are tight, NO WATER has gotten down in there, and make sure PLUGs are in fact tight in the head themselves. You won't need to upgrade your injectors for just a simple 75MM TB install. Your computer can compensate for the extra bit of air your getting with ease.

Try not to beat on it until you get that fixed. Just for future reference, if you have ANY AIR leak into the intake-tract PAST the MAF meter, thats bad. The car calculates the amount of 02 and temp(IntakeAirTemp) and thus tells the injectors how much fuel to squirt based on the fuel tables built into the car computer. If the car is getting more air than it thinks it is, strange things start to happen.....
