I need help my gsr hatch
I'm having a problem with my car? I have a dead spot between 7,000 &8,000 RPM's, it's not the rev limitor i have no idea what the problem is or how to fix it.

Where exactly does it redline? What kind of mods does it have? Does it miss, or just hesitate? Whens the last time you changed your fuel filter? Did it just start this after refueling? Have you checked the plugs?

IT redlines 9,400 it hesitates bad i changed the fuel filter and yes i checked the plugs itk's bin doing it for awhile now i changed the coil and it didn't start after i filled it up sometimes it will start miss a little right before it gets into it. It pretty much falls on it's face when it does it, but it doesn't really want to pull through it but sometimes it does

id look to see if the ckp sensor waveform has deadsports or noise on the signal in otherwords, swap dizzys.

Damn why you revvin it up to 9.4? Your not makin any power up there unless you have a pretty heavy modded motor.

The rev limitor is so high, because that's the way the computer came when i bought it. I only rev it to about 82-84. Do you think the dist. could be the prob, does anyone know where i could get a OBD2 for a gsr

Yea it could be the dizzy, find a friend that has one an swap it out before you buy one.

I hit 12500 when I had my teg.it had 12.5 to 1 comp,and pinged so bad if you ran premium fuel in it had to run octane boosters to keep it from blowing ohhhhhhhhh do I miss that car.enough about me its the dizzy checked with my buddy and thats what he said so get a new one George,later

the tune must be super bad if you if you pinging with only 12.5:1 compression
