Need help on a v6 mustang fuel pump
I'm trying to help a friend out.. I'm looking for a manual page for a 2000 v6 mustang fuel pump. Apparently the guy working on it now can't get the fuel line of the pump and either broke it or left it as is. Haven't looked at it yet but this should would help.

Those quick connects can be a bitch sometimes. Just soak them with penetrating oil and twist them back and forth. Should eventually come free.

That didn't work :( I ended up using a small flathead to press the prongs in and to pop it off. The previous idiot broke the tool used to take them off. He also made the poor girl spend $$$ on a fuel pump that wasn't even bad. The fucking fuse was blown cause there was a short in the wire! I went ahead and took the new pump out and checked everything then put it back together. I need the gasket that goes on the pipe where the gas is put in.. on the tank itself. It was destroyed somehow and Advanced said only a ford dealer would have it. What a PITA tho lol. I'm spoiled by having my pump right under the seat if you remove a small panel. Car drives decent but I wouldn't put any gas in it just yet lol. It runs enough to bring to my place to finish up the install. Working on gravel sucks ass I feel for whoever was saying their driveway is gravel.
